A genre most commonly associated with Brian Eno’s classic statement that simply stated “Music as ignorable as it is interesting.” Some ambient music bends that definition, but I like to listen to ambient that provides a soundscape for a mood, a feeling, an experience of some kind without having constraints of time or structure as many other genres contain.
