On Being Content.

“In which I write very briefly about being content.”
In which I write very briefly about being content.

Lao Tzu was a Chinese philosopher and writer, notably being the author of the “Tao Te Ching”, a fundamental Chinese text that is a must-read for anyone who is on the spiritual path of self-transformation. His wise words are simple, powerful, and timeless. There is invaluable wisdom that can be learned from reading this little book.

My particular favourite quotation attributed to him is this:

Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.

When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.
