Re:Fraction – Session 06A

Gustav Sandstedt is an amazing musician who was responsible for some amazing electronic music. From the incredible drone/ambient of the series released under the moniker Fahünd to SKYMF’s unique take on techno, he is now producing dub techno under the alias ‘Re:fraction’. This latest track is a brilliant slab of the genre, and despite only recently starting out in the area, Gustav has shown incredible skill in creating these pieces. The pieces are also interesting as they are produced via hardware rather than (what I assume) through a DAW. I did find out that they are recorded to DAW for mastering, but the primary sound drivers and sequencing is all hardware. Which is fucking amazing.
